What a pleasant experience my gf and I had at S&G. Staff was very friendly and the food was perfectly seasoned. The best wing sauce is the house sauce (I think it’s some mix of mumbo + bbq). The whiting was our favorite fish. And the fries were great (fast food fries yum!). I love how they have sauce and seasonings on the counter for you to add on your own. Tip 1: Park down the little alley around the corner. Tip 2: cash payment gets a 4% discount.

Great food! Nice people. I only gave 4 stars for Service because they ran out of crab for the crab sandwich (it was close to closing time). But that's also a testament to how good their food is. Keep up the great work! If I were to make any suggestions, it would be: extend your hours to 8pm for the dinner crowd. We will be back!

This has to be the same fish Jesus divided among the people. God lives in the cook's hand. Everything is made fresh to order. I believe a seasoning fairy works in the back. Worth every red cent.

This small yet big family business is just right and serves up great food! They are a staple to Washington, DC and a landmark of great proportions hidden away in Edgewood community as older locals call the neighborhood. This is my go to spot for good wings, fries, and everything else. This place is a treasure in the heart of DC. and I’m more comfortable buying wings and fries here than going to the Chinese carry out..

Glad they finally corrected the photos that implied this was “sit-down.” They is a no-frills, so-so customer service, primarily frozen seafood focused carry out. A black owned business ✨I am glad to support from time to time, but not a great staple. If you’re in the area pop in for typical seafood offerings. The taste will do, but they could do a whole lot better to serve up fresh seafood and leave the freezer out of play. Better than most carry out for seafood, but underwhelming.

This family-run enterprise is the perfect size and offers delicious food. They are a fixture in Washington, DC, and a massive landmark that is secretly located in Edgewood Community, as the area is known to older residents. This is my go-to place for delicious wings, fries, and other foods. It's a hidden gem in the middle of Washington, DC. Additionally, I feel safer buying wings and fries here than at the Chinese takeout.
